MARINE NOTICES (SMMN)
(ex Policy Letters – SMPL)
San Marino Marine Notices are non-binding regulatory guidelines issued by the Administration to provide instructions, explanations, and recommendations on the implementation and interpretation of Laws, Decrees, and Maritime Regulations. Marine Notices are intended to facilitate uniform application and understanding of the regulatory framework, offering practical guidance to shipowners, companies, recognised organisations, and other stakeholders. Compliance with Maritime Notice guidance is strongly encouraged to ensure conformity with the objectives and intent of the binding maritime legislation and regulations.
This section also includes Policy Letters, issued in the past in accordance with the previous version of the Maritime Regulation, which will be converted into Marine Notices upon their revision.
